Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band

The Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band provides support for Military and Official Government functions throughout the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Band has also represented Canada at official ceremonies in Europe, including Vimy Ridge and Beaumont Hamel in France in 1997, and Mons in Belgium in 1998 where they recreated the Canadian Victory Parade through Mons on 11 November 1918.

The Mount Pearl Show Choir- R. Carl Goulding, Musical Director of The Mount Pearl Show Choir, has an award winning musical curriculum, evolved from his teaching methods, dedications and vision. In 2002 Mr. Goulding accepted from Prime Minister Chrétien, the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence.

The singers and dancers of The Mount Pearl Show Choir have performed in New York, the Bahamas, Florida, Virginia and Pennsylvania. They entertained at Walt Disney World (1995, 1999, 2002), Universal Studios (1995, 1999, 2002), Busch Gardens (2002), Sea World (2002) and completed provincial performance tours during Soiree’ 99 Celebrations and the Viking 1000 Tour. Their performances have been televised on CBC, ABC, NBC, CNN and LIFE. Also, they provided entertainment for the Summer Games (1988, 2000) and Expo 86, Vancouver. The Mount Pearl Show Choir traveled to Japan in July 2005.
